Whether you are planning a wedding, family reunion or other event, the Route 66 Interpretive Center could be the space for you. As the original Chandler Armory building constructed in 1937, it offers an 8,000 square foot space large enough to cater 320 guests.
The space also offers a kitchen area complete with a chef’s fridge, large kitchen sink and plenty of counter space to make catering an ease.
Of course, the best part about planning an event at the Route 66 Interpretive Center is the price. With a flat rate of $1,500 per event, the Interpretive Center is the perfect venue at an affordable price point for your future wedding or event.
The original Chandler Armory building was constructed in 1936-37 by the federal Works Progress Administration (WPA). This program was part of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “New Deal.”
This structure was built for the Oklahoma National Guard, and served as an armory until a new one was constructed. Now the center is a museum and historic and spacious wedding (and event) venue.
